Shimu 'highly commended' in Good Web Guide Awards

We are delighted that our website has been 'highly commended' by the Good Web Guide as part of their 2018 Website of the Year Awards.

Our site was reviewed in a lengthy process by industry experts, including Holly Tucker, co-founder of the gift site Not On The High Street and Kelly Eastwood of The London Chatter. Whilst we missed out on an award, we are very pleased to have been so favourably compared to sites with much greater resources and awareness than our own, such as The Rough Guide travel site, Savilles property agents and House & Garden - winner of the 'Home and Garden' section that Shimu entered.

The awards ceremony took place on Monday 12th November, with the overall title for 'Website of the Year' going to Great British Chefs, one of the fastest growing food websites in the UK.

We've worked hard over recent months to revamp and relaunch our site, with up-to-date content on our blog and an ever growing range of products. We hope that our passion for Chinese antiques and oriental furniture shows through and it's nice to be recognised in some way by such a high profile, expert panel of judges.
